Personal Legal Service

With over 40 people working from our offices at 32 Friar Lane, in the centre of Leicester, we have been helping people with their personal legal problems for over 30 years.

Our contracts with the Legal Services Commission (LSC) and the Specialist Quality Mark Award (SQM), provides, for those that qualify, access to public funding for criminal, family and mediation matters across the Community.

We are close to the courts and prisons and are based in Leicester City Centre. Our Crime department headed by Steve Morris, Partner and a team of solicitors and legal clerks, we cover the complete range of criminal cases.

Our Family department provides a complete service with over 25 years of combined qualified experience at Partner level. Child Care work is headed by Manjit Obhi supported by Holly Cross, Partner, and Divorce and Ancillary Relief services provided through Ashwin Topiwala, assisted by a team of solicitors, legal clerks and support staff.

Dodds Solicitors LLP Family Mediation Services, an operational division of Dodds Solicitors LLP, was formed in February 2000 to provide independent Family Mediation services to assist those involved in family breakdown as an alternative to the court process.

Our Personal Injury and Civil Litigation department is headed by Sarah Spence who is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). We are able to offer "No Win - No Fee" agreements and arrange for legal expenses insurance cover.

The Residential Conveyancing department is available through Duncan Colledge who has a wide experience in all legal and practical aspects of your house move.
