It’s National Children’s Day UK (NCDUK) on Sunday 15th May and events are taking place up and down the country to celebrate it during all of this week. For NCDUK 2016 the importance of the wellbeing of adults is being highlighted to ensure that the child’s wellbeing is ultimately look after.

Here at Dodds Solicitors LLP, we deal with lots of parents going through difficult periods due to separation or divorce which can affect their wellbeing, especially where a lengthy, costly court process is involved. But there is a different way using the Collaborative Law process or Mediation. Either way makes for a better impact upon the wellbeing of the adults involved which ultimately impacts upon the wellbeing of any children involved.

We have devised two factsheets explaining how the Collaborative Law process and Mediation works and why you should consider using either of them before starting court proceedings. If you have any questions, then please don’t hesitate to contact either Reena Johl, our Collaboratively trained solicitor or Ashwin Topiwala, our Mediator on 0116 2628596 or email them at reena.johl@dodds-solicitors.co.uk or Ashwin.topiwala@dodds-solicitors.co.uk.
