On 1st December Natwest held a networking event at Leicester Arena directed at Women in Business which two members of our team, Sarah Spence and Jessica Allan, attended. The event consisted of a number of inspirational talks from individuals who have been assisted by Natwest in developing their business.
There was an encouraging talk from Caroline Ryan who is a health and wellbeing life coach, regarding the future of women, feminism and empowering one another.
The event was in addition raising money for two local charities, the Leicester YMCA and Twenty Twenty, in the form of a raffle. These charities both help young people with accommodation, mentoring and teaching them life skills for future. The event raised over £500 in total for these charities. In addition the Leicester Y are trying to raise funds for their 135 appeal. They have been running for 135 years in Leicester and are requesting donations of £135 from local businesses.
